Incompetent Politicians

Deep in Nyanza, Muhoroni sugarcane scheme is Menara Primary School. 10 years ago, the institution was among the top perfoming ones in Muhoroni Constituency, almost outdoing the private schools in the region. A decade later, what remains of the institution are cracked walls, muddy floors, classes with no windows and leaking rooves. Currently it is still among the top perfoming institutions though with low mean score as compared to the past years. Accessing the school is even a great ordeal. There are impassible roads between Bangla Junction and Muhoroni Town....

SAVE IMPALA PARK!

Growing up in Kisumu, Impala park was one of the best Tourism sites in the region. Most school trips and birthday celebrations would end up at Impala. It had lots of fascinating wild animals, including the lions, giraffe, antelopes etc. This was way before Dunga Hill Camp (DHC) was launched near Dunga beach. It is also weird, that as locals we rarely take time to tour around the city during our leisure time. It's a norm finding a resident of Kisumu who has never been to such areas, or even if...

I first heard of Angels of Sunset online. There is this young lady who posted that she was so much interested in working with kids especially from slums,as majority of them looked upto her as their role-model. Just like that,...

The 21st century girls want optional careers that require less or no hardwork and study. Majority prefer to introduce themselves as 'models' to academically oriented professions. Am not saying nurturing talent is of no use,but then if it cannot 'PAY your BILLS', then there is need to seek an alternative side hustle that can provide you with a stable source of income. Kindly check on the specific qualifications of...
