City Food Court – CFC Kisumu launch

With less than a year to Kenya’s next election, the whole nation is either focused on getting back to business post Covid-19 or  campaigning traversing different regions to gather votes for 2022.

Elsewhere in Kisumu county, more and more investors are setting bases to tap into the lake region. Kisumu city, for instance has had vibrant business growth and expansion in 2021.

It’s the year Carrefour, Shivling and Naivas Supermarkets expanded their branches to different locations within the town, to serve the demand of immensely growing population. In hospitality industry, the likes of Calfie Resort, The VIP Lounge, Mirage Palace and the new entrant CITY FOOD COURT have brought different percepective into the field.

A researcher, come proprietor, DR DAUD launched a world class Swahili restaurant – CITY FOOD COURT , commonly known as CFC Kisumu , a House of Mandi concept during this year’s Jamhuri day celebrations.

CFC boasts of exsiquisite interior deco,  Ethiopian and Swahili cuisine and top notch services sourced from different countries globally to ensure that locals in Kisumu get nothing, but the best.

Located adjacent to Blackberry Enterprises along Oginga Odingast n Kisumu CBD, CFC Kisumu boasts of a capacity of hosting more than 100 pax in a single sitting. Dr Daud, the director adds that together with other directors, they have set aside millions to expand the restaurant to a 2 storey building, whose construction is currently ongoing. On completion, CFC will have a VIP wing upstairs for clients who need privacy to have their meetings.

“Generally, Kisumu has always been misquoted and misreported to be chaotic during elections, we have officially launched and opened CFC Kisumu at this Festive time to prove them wrong. Kisumu is a great county and with support of the County government, this region is ripe for investments and expansion. We also target the Africities conference next year, we need to serve the dishes that our dignitaries from different continents globally may require that aren’t locally available.” concludes Dr Daud
